microblading

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Imagine waking up every morning with perfect eyebrows...

Microblading, also known as feathering, eyebrow embroidery and 3-D eyebrows, uses a disposable, pen-like micro-blade device to etch very fine lines into skin, mimicking eyebrow hairs.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that deposits color closer to the surface of the skin than with the use of a machine, leaving very crisp, fine hair strokes. This method prevents ink spillage under the skin so these lines heal thinner and sharper with less blurring over time.

The enhancement looks completely natural and is an excellent long term solution for hiding common eyebrow imperfections such as gaps between the hairs, scars, thinness in shape, etc.

WHO IS IT FOR?

At any age, thicker, fuller brows enhance a woman's beauty, allowing her to appear more youthful, while accenting the natural beauty of her eyes and balancing her facial features.

Very few people are naturally blessed with ideal, lavish brows, and many of us (especially those of us who were around in the 90's) have over-tweezed, resulting in permanent 'holes' in their brows. Fiber gels, pencils, and other eyebrow makeup can create the illusion of fullness, but the daily effort of drawing on the perfect pair can be both time-consuming and difficult to accomplish.

The art of microblading, when performed by an experienced professional with a keen, aesthetic eye for beauty, can give you the ideal pair of natural-looking brows for your face. Whether someone is wanting to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps or fill in over plucked brows, microblading is the ideal semi-permanent, natural-looking solution.

DOES IT HURT?
With the use of numbing cream we make the procedure painless.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

Clients may feel some tenderness or sensitivity for a few days after the procedure. As the brows heal, they may flake and form scabs that will fall off.

Initially, brows will appear darker, fading 20-30% within 1.5 - 2 weeks. Depending on how well the skin retains the pigment, clients may opt for a touch up within four to six weeks. Many clients come for an annual touch up to maintain the sharpness of the hair strokes, as well as the shape and color of their brows. I offer a special touch up/re-do rate for my returning clients up to three years after their initial appointment.
